Enhanced Capabilities Expand the Company’s Pharma-Focused Contract Manufacturing & Packaging Offerings
Royston, GA --Pharma Tech Industries (PTI), a leading U.S.-based provider of contract manufacturing and packaging services for pharmaceutical, OTC healthcare, medical device and personal care products and the largest contract manufacturer and packager of powder products in the world, announces the completion of four ISO 8 Level (Class 100,000) clean rooms. Three of the rooms are housed in the company’s Royston, Georgia facility and one clean room is in its Union, Missouri facility.
The specially engineered rooms have highly-sensitive control features to closely regulate and monitor both temperature and humidity. The three clean rooms located at PTI’s Royston facility are used for unit dose/pouch filling, and compounding and blending of powder-based products. The compounding/ blending room also has an area dedicated to pre-weighing and sampling. The Union facility clean room is for bottle filling of powder-based products.
